SOLECO's 29th annual Summer Splash will be held this year on Saturday July 12th, 2008. This swim meet will be open to all swimmers from ages five through high school. Times from this meet may be used to qualify for Championships!

Date. Saturday, July 12th, 2008. Warm up at 7:00 am-8:15 am. Gates open at 6:30 am. Meet starts at 8:30 am.

Location. Living Memorial Park, Coopersburg, PA. Follow Route 309 to the town of Coopersburg. Turn east at the traffic light next to Giant Shopping Center (there is a Getty gas station on the Southwest corner). The pool is on the right.
Facility. 6 non-turbulent lanes, 25 meter pool, ample free parking, beautiful spacious grounds, bleacher area for spectators.
Eligibility. The swimmer's age as of July 12th governs for the entire meet. Swimmers may not swim up.
Entries. Swimmers may enter a maximum of five individual events and two relays. An entry form must be filled out (one per swimmer) containing the following information: name, address, telephone number, age, date of birth, gender, affiliation, events, event numbers, and best meter times (multiply yard times x 1.11 to get meter times). Entries may be sent by using Hy-Tec Commlink file, but hard copy waiver forms must also be submitted for each swimmer. A hard copy printout from Team Manager and the Commlink file must accompany the diskette. The meet director reserves the right to limit the number of entries. The entry deadline is July 5, 2008 by 6:00 PM!
Entry Fees. $4 per individual event, $12 per relay. Mail all entries with checks payable to: Soleco Booster Club, 5909 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Emmaus, PA 18049.
Admission Fees. $3 per spectator, $5 per program. Swimming equipment vendor will also be present.
Awards. Individual events: Medals 1st-3rd, Ribbons 4th-12th in each event. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place high point trophies, boys and girls, will be given in each age group (relays not included in points). Relays: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be given. High point trophies will be awarded at the end of the day and after the last event.
Food. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available on the grounds.
Rules. The meet will be conducted according to PIAA rules, with PIAA certified officials. Feet first entry during warm up, except in designated sprint lanes. When diving is permitted, the swimmer must enter from the starting blocks and exit from the opposite end of the pool. Scoring will be by time only, there will be no finish judges. There will be three timers per lane and the middle time will be recorded.
